Dig-Geotech Limited is an independent Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental engineering consultancy established in 2005 by
Dr David Grant.

David Grant has nearly 30 years of practical ground engineering experience. He has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and a PhD related to landslide instrumentation & investigation. Prior to setting up Dig-Geotech Ltd, David had been the Senior Lecturer in Soil Mechanics at Portsmouth University and had previously worked for a number of leading UK engineering consultancies.

Dig-Geotech Limited provides specialist advice to landowners & their agents, architects, developers, and other construction related professionals. Our range of services include:

• Geotechnical consultancy & design advice (either as a direct client or sub consultant)
• Contaminated land desk studies, site assessments and remediation proposals
• Slope stability investigations, analyses and remedial works designs
• Earthworks designs, including modification and stabilisation with lime and / or cement
• Site investigations & laboratory testing
• Foundation design & other geotechnical analyses.

Dig-Geotech Ltd are based in south Somerset close to the Dorset border and have a subsidiary office near Portsmouth. We undertake projects anywhere in the UK, Ireland & mainland Europe and as sub-consultants have worked in Sri Lanka, Indonesia and west Africa.
